Details

A very ornamental grass with its astonishing bluish foliage, forming beautiful dense and low clumps. Blue fescue is robust and requires no attention.

It is a preferred species for borders and a good ground cover in embankments, where its beautiful blue sea urchin aspect is visually highlighted.

Not scared of full sun and drought, it will grow best in a medium soil with watering from time to time, always in sunlight.

In early summer, straw color spikes emerge above the blue clump, producing a superb color contrast.
