Agastache foeniculum is a plant of the mint and sage family, interesting for its medicinal, culinary and aesthetic properties. Medicinal Properties: Cardiac, Diaphoretic and Pectoral. Culinary properties: the leaves have a light licorice-like and anised flavor and can be used to make delicious herb teas or to season food. Aesthetic properties: the plant produces abundant and lasting purple flower spikes in summer, meliferous and very attractive to insects. Anised Hyssop is of the most beautiful effect in high flower beds. In autumn, its many seeds are the joy of birds. A nice plant to discover. Sow in april-may protected from frost, and transplant in place in may-june, full sun exposure. Grows back each year from the stump. 1 packet of 0.1g (hundreds of seeds).
