Details

Sweet Pepper is grown for its aromatic and juicy fruits, delicious eaten raw in salads or in vegetable juices, cooked in various recipes, or candied as an aperitif. We often ignore that Sweet pepper has medicinal properties: Antidiarrheal, Antiemetic, Anti-rheumatic, Antispasmodic, Aperitif and Digestive. The variety Aconcagua is very popular and sought after. It produces an abundance of long red peppers, meaty, juicy and aromatic, which can also be harvested green. Non-GMO, non-hybrid.

Sow in trays at warm temperature beginning of March. Transplant seedlings in pots when they have two or three leaves. Plant in your vegetable garden late May after the last risk of frost, full sun exposure, in a good soil enriched with manure, and take care to keep soil humidity all summer with mulch and watering. For success, your peppers will need heat and sun, and a long season. Capsicum annuum begins to bloom in July and continuously all summer. Abundant harvest from late August until first frosts.
