We love this wild plant, robust and easy, for its very beautiful summer flowering of large soft pink flowers on soft green foliage

The flowers of Musk Mallow are edible

They can be added to a salad or any other dish for decoration

Malva moschata is also used in medicinal herb teas

It has the following medicinal properties: Astringent, Demulcent, Diuretic, Expectorant, and Laxative

Cultivation

Sow the seeds in early spring in the nursery

Transplant in May in a sunny place - full sun or partial shade

Water if the plant suffers from droughts during the first summer

In winter, cut the dead stems for cleaning the Musk Mallow and keeping it nice

It grows back from its stump each spring
